People exist first and then create governments of laws. The ninth and tenth amendments refer to prior existing rights.

To deny human rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness is to deny the very validation for the war of independence.

She is a wolf in sheep's clothing, a big government authoritarian, and one who ONLY believes in "rights" that the government/law grants to a person. If she is confirmed then the Senate has again broken faith with the American people and with our historical understanding of natural rights.

This goes to prove again that rule by none is better than rule by some.

I would not be surprised that, as per her admission of how she spends Christmas, she also spends the 4th of July in a Chinese Restaurant!
