Freedom Shenanigan #35
Do unto the poLice chief as he has ordered to be done unto you

First a little back ground

THE RULE OF LAW IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: The Attorney General says it’s legal to openly carry a gun, but Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn says:

If my officers see someone walking around the City of Milwaukee with a firearm openly displayed, it borders on irresponsible if I were to communicate to members of my community that they can carry that firearm with impunity. My message to my troops is if you see anybody carrying a gun on the streets of Milwaukee, we’ll put them on the ground, take the gun away and then decide whether you have a right to carry it,” Flynn said.

Radley Balko of The Agitator observes that, "Milwaukee’s first problem is that it has a police chief who refers to the city’s peace officers as `my troops.'

No wonder the city’s force includes cops like Det. Kent Corbett, who actually wrote a letter to the editor of National Review in defense of the Maryland raid on Mayor Cheye Calvo. Not in defense of the use of SWAT teams or drug raids in general, but of the specific (and violent, and mistaken) raid on Calvo."

From Instapundit.com Gene Reynolds offers;

"So if you see Police Chief Ed Flynn, put him on the ground, take his wallet away, and then decide whether he’s accepted any bribes that day. If, after doing that, you think the money’s his, give his wallet back. Who cares what the law says? It’s the Milwaukee Way!"

Caveat: Cover your face with SWAT team gear, make sure you announce that this is a Citizen's arrest pending further investigation. Or if you have big enough gonads, Call the media, cuff him, take him to the County Sheriff's office and make sure you have bail money because this will be a major story.
